Cyberjaya is Malaysia's 'Intelligent' city. It is located in the district of Sepang (where the F1 Grand Prix is held) and is about 50km south of Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. Since its launch in 1999, Cyberjaya has been transformed from a dull plantation estate into a township boasting, among other things, a 5 star tropical boutique resort, state-of-art commercial and residential developments, universities, a community club and the headquarters for the local authority. Cyberjaya is a beautifully landscaped city offering low rise, low density living with lots of open green spaces. In addition to a modern and hi-tech infrastructure, the city boasts a growing list of amenities for its residents, including:
